FINSE ry, the Finnish Chapter of the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE), has the great pleasure to invite You to the FINSE Autumn Systems Engineering Boat Seminar 2002.
The seminar is to be held on Silja Line GTS FINNJET cruise between Helsinki and Tallinn.

This one day Seminar will be held:

  • Departure Tuesday 22.10. at 17.00 at Katajanokka Terminal, Helsinki (boat leaves at 18.00)
  • Wednesday 23.10. on GTS FINNJET Boat Conference Center

Boat arrives in Helsinki Wednesday 23.10. at 16.15.
You will hear and meet highly professional experts such as:
  • Jukka Ponsi
    Lt.Col, Defence Staff, Logistics Division

    Jukka is a chief of branch in Logistics Division of the Finnish Defence Staff. Their main interest lies in life cycle management and how to support it with high quality information. At the moment their main task is to implement mySAP.com into Finnish Defence in MACFIN project. Jukka has been working with that programme since 1996 as a programme manager. Jukka is a board member in PLCS, Inc. -consortium, which is developing ISO 10303 STEP AP 239 Product Life Cycle Support. He is a Finnish representative in NATO's Life Cycle Integration Group, Codification Committee and NATO CALS Management Board.
     
  • Timo Markkula
    Manager Business Consulting, Siemens Business Services - Finland

    Timo is a responsible person at SBS for Public and Utilities sectors. SBS's interest is to deliver complete Business Solutions with needed integration with legacy IT-solution and processes with an eye to further operations. Timo has been working with MACFIN programme since RFP on February 2001; first as a Proposal Manager and afterwards as a SBS's Delivery Manager
     
  • Patricia Spugani
    Program Director, B2B Business Strategy and Standards, IBM's Corporate Strategy and Business Transformation/CIO organization, USA

    In January 2001, Patricia joined and helped to establish the Business to Business (B2B) Initiatives organization in IBM's corporate Business Transformation and CIO's office. This team has worldwide responsibility for enabling IBM as a world class participant in B2B within IBM's supply chain. This includes defining a business strategy, technical architecture, and deployment road map. Patricia has responsibility for IBM's global enterprise strategy for B2B, partner enablement, and establishing the use of B2B standards within IBM, including the adoption of RosettaNet.
     
  • Matthias Gehrken
    Nokia Business Infrastructure

    Matthias Gehrken is the Team Leader of Nokias b2bi-Team and has managed many of Nokias RosettaNet implementations and the development of the High-Availability XML platform. Before joining Nokia Business Infrastructure he concepted and lead several EDI and Logistics projects of Nokia Mobile Phones.
The goal of this interactive seminar is to focus on the SE process, methods and implementation and evaluation of tools. And of course you will find yourself with like-minded people from Nokia, Sonera-Telia, Finnish Defence Forces, Patria, University of Jyväskylä, etc.

Fees for this Unique Boat Seminar are only (with VAT):
  • 250 € per person including seminar fee, Seaside-cabin for one person, meals and optional FINSE membership fee for 2002,
  • 40 € per avec with full paid seminar participant in Seaside-cabin for two persons (meals included and avec has possibility to visit Tallinn Wednesday during 08.00 - 12.30),
  • 125 € per student including seminar fee, seat in Seaside-cabin for two persons, meals and optional FINSE membership fee for 2002.
