Introduction The Purpose of FINSE ry
FINSE ry is a society that gives its members a forum to share and exchange Systems Engineering related knowledge and experience for each other and the Finnish Society. FINSE ry contributes to its members by arranging Systems Engineering related seminars and other events. The main activities can be found here.
By joining FINSE ry you will get:
- an opportunity to participate the events arranged by FINSE with a membership benefits
- information of the Systems Engineering events arranged in Finland and abroad
- FINSE publications
- A Systems Engineering CD produced by FINSE ry which contains proceedings from several previously arranged FINSE ry seminars
- an opportunity to exchange experiences and network with SE "true believers"
- an opportunity to influence the development of SE activities and knowledge in Finland
FINSE ry co-operates with such societies that provide added value for FINSE ry members. As one example of these activities is our co-operation with Finnish Project Association. As a member of FINSE ry you get Project Associations magazines, you get user id for Project Associations members forum web-site and you get membership benefits when participating Project Associations events. As a FINSE ry member you however do not automatically become a member of Project association. The members of Project Association get correspondingly membership benefits at the events arranged by FINSE ry.
FINSE ry acts as a Finnish Chapter to international Systems Engineering organisation INCOSE. This means that if you are a member of INCOSE and your affiliation is Finnish Chapter your membership in FINSE ry is free (you need to register as a member). Membership in FINSE ry does not automatically make you INCOSE member. You need to register as INCOSE member separately (membership fee 2005 is $105).
